Velowave Prado S Commuter Electric Bike

The Prado S Commuter Electric Bike is designed for city riding and everyday commuting, combining a 6061 aluminum frame with an integrated rear rack, front suspension, fenders, and 20 in. x 4.0 in. fat tires. Swept-back handlebars support an upright riding position, while the wide saddle is designed for riding comfort.

Its electric system uses a 750W BAFANG geared hub motor with 1275W peak output and 55Nm of torque, paired with a removable 48V 15Ah, 720Wh lithium-ion battery using LG 21700 cells. The bike supports speeds up to 25 MPH with pedal assistance and 20 MPH using the thumb throttle.

The drivetrain uses Shimano 7-speed components, while front and rear hydraulic disc brakes provide braking control. A multifunction color display provides information including assist level, battery status, speed, and mileage.

Warranty

A 2-year initial warranty applies to bikes purchased after March 22, 2024. Battery packs are covered for 2 years from the original retail purchase date or up to 300 charging cycles, whichever occurs first. The motor, controller, display, charger, and throttle are covered for 2 years from the date of purchase. Bicycle frames are covered for 2 years against manufacturing defects, and mechanical components are covered for 1 year against manufacturing defects.
